Glatigny Farmhouse is a lovingly restored Normandy home set in the peaceful countryside of the Cotentin Peninsula, just five minutes from a wide sandy beach and the sea. Spread across three welcoming floors, it offers space and comfort for families and couples alike. Every corner has been thoughtfully shaped to feel personal, warm, and effortlessly like home.

Glatigny Farmhouse is our little slice of Normandy, and we’ve poured our hearts into it. Whether you’re here with family, friends, or just a couple of loved ones, we hope it feels like your home from the moment you arrive.

Our bedrooms are cozy retreats, filled with soft linens and quiet nooks, perfect for sinking into a peaceful night’s sleep after a day of adventures.

Enjoy breakfasts made from local produce, treats from nearby markets, or a picnic under the trees; little tastes of Normandy to brighten your day.

Stroll through our gardens, orchards, and wildflower meadows, spot birds and wildlife, or meander through the open fields.

Days can be as gentle or as active as you wish, from peaceful beach walks and sunset horse riding to cultural visits like Mont St Michel and the Bayeux Tapestry, or cycling, surfing, power kiting, tennis, windsurfing, and even hot air ballooning across this beautiful rural landscape.

Where We Are

We love how Glatigny Farmhouse sits quietly between countryside and coast. The beach is just minutes away, local towns and golf courses are close by, and yet the house always feels peaceful and tucked away. It’s a place where days can be spent exploring or on the greens, and evenings always bring you back to calm.

This is one of those gems which you almost don't want to review so as to keep it all to yourself!! A truly wonderful house in a fantastic location. It's very hard to pull off 'quirky yet tasteful ' but Sam and Fran have done so with great aplomb. Unbelievable beach a short bike ride away and restaurants that would give any Michelin starred establishment a run for their money but at a fraction of the cost. I could go on all day about how great it is but my advice is go see for yourself!

Samuel and Francesca's place is absolutely amazing. Charming, stylish and just the right amount of quirkiness. The photos don't do it justice. It is truly a special home - we were sorry to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. Samuel and Francesca are wonderful hosts. Welcoming, helpful and very quick to respond to questions. Thank you so much for allowing us to share your beautiful home.

If you are looking for a quiet place to rest up or want somewhere your family can enjoy the beach, cycling, tennis and local cuisine, then this place is perfect. The house is very well equipped and has been beautifully restored you won't be disappointed.

I visited the house with my family, the 6 of us were utterly bowled over by the beautiful home that greeted us. It is the perfect spot. We used the house bikes and cycled to the beach everyday, at night we bbq'd under the stars before falling asleep in the most comfortable beds. The house is gorgeous. The attention to detail is exceptional. We could not have asked for more.

This house has been lovingly restored into a very stylish and cosy retreat. Tucked away in the countryside, you'll find it a fantastic place to really escape but also an excellent spot to visit the little villages and incredible beaches from. The house itself has a very social layout and plenty of space for cooking dining and relaxing in a group. Can't wait to go back!😉

Beautifully restored, comfortable, spacious welcoming home. located near a deserted sandy beach. I was only there for four days but I was as relaxed as if I had stayed a week or more. Everything is restored to a very high standard. The farmhouse is clean and spacious and very beautiful. Sam & Fran are fantastic hosts, bending over backwards to ensure that you have the perfect break. I cannot recommend this highly enough....
